About

Gui Roque

Portrait photographer in Reykjavik, building expressive images around close light, quiet detail, and the feeling a person brings into the room.

I started shooting in late 2022 and have been shaping a style built around intimate portraits, dramatic color, and references from film, music, fashion, and games.

I want sessions to feel relaxed and collaborative. I guide posing and light, but the goal is not to flatten someone into a perfect version of themselves. The goal is to make images that feel specific, honest, and visually memorable.

My work is influenced by artists like Yulia Gorbchenko and Jack Bridgeland, but I keep pulling those references back into my own eye: tighter, moodier, and centered on the person in front of the camera.
